Stefan Moser was born in Munich in 1971 and trained as an economist and a lawyer. He joined the European Commission in 2000 in DG Competition to work on control of state aid to public undertakings and services, notably financial institutions. From 2005 to 2009, he worked in DG Environment on climate and environment policy, notably greenhouse gas emissions trading, transport emissions and air quality. From 2009 to 2015, he dealt with policy coordination in the Secretariat-General, in particular on climate, energy, environment, transport, agriculture and maritime policies. He was appointed Head of the Security of Supply Unit in DG Energy in March 2015 and has since then been in charge of the development and implementation of energy security policies in relation to gas, electricity, oil, offshore safety, cybersecurity and protection of critical infrastructure.

Josh is in charge of coordinating REScoop.eu's input into the negotiations on the EU's clean energy package legislation. A qualified lawyer in California since 2010, Josh has been actively involved in the European energy policy debate since 2012. As climate and energy lawyer for ClientEarth, an environmental law NGO, Josh worked on issues related to the internal energy market, renewables, infrastructure, and community/citizen participation in the energy sector. Josh earned his Juris Doctorate from McGeorge School of law, and he has an LL.M. in Environmental Law & Policy at University College London. He is also a member of the World Commission on Environmental Law.

Through various national and international cooperation, she gained profound knowledge on energy and energy in the built environment. Before starting Th!nk E, Leen has worked as a post-doc at the University of Texas at Austin and has been a guest professor in thermodynamics and heat transfer at the Vrije Universiteit Brussels and the University of Santa Clara in Cuba. With Th!nk E she has set up close cooperation with industry in various R&D projects as well as in demonstration activities. Leen initiated the Living Lab in Oud-Heverlee where 19 national and international companies and research institutes cooperate to leverage innovation in the built environment. Today, this Living Lab is being extended to a Street Lab.
Leen is a member of the board of Flux50. Leen is technical coordinator of City-Zen (FP7 Smart Cities project) and STORY (H2020 LCE8 on energy storage). Leen is co-coordinator of the Bridge working group on Business Models and the taskforce on Local Energy Communities. Leen coordinates ROLECS, the largest Flemish project including 30 partners and focussing on the development of the framework for LECs in Flanders.
